Here is this week's spelling list. We are on lesson 25. The test and the assignment are due on Friday, October 23. The assignment this week is a fun one! Well, my second graders used to love it so we will see! It is called the "Spelling Bees!" The students are to draw a picture in color and add 25 large bees. In each bee, a spelling word will be written. It HAS to be neat and legible, so make sure each bee is large enough for each word. Have fun all artists in this class!

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be acknowledging this by wearing pink on Fridays throughout the month. If your student does not have pink, please do not feel like you have to go out and buy them something pink! I will have ribbons here as well as some other pink ideas. Today is "Turn the Flathead Pink" day and it was REALLY fun to see all of the kids here that were a part of this wonderful campaign for awareness! Thanks to all! I will add a picture today ASAP.
